Here...finally

Well...after nearly a week of travel, 6 flights spanning 5 countries on three continents we are here.

Here...is a western province of Afghanistan...many miles from anywhere. Here, furthermore, is a walled compound that is about 200 yards on each side. We have fairly decent living areas...soon to feature actual air conditioning, as much dust as you could dream of (or at least have nightmares about) and flies galore. But it is our home for the next year...yay...

Heh.

Time for chow, more later.

Hay mr.r how are you doing? Well I am doing good. Yesturday we went to the Humble mall it was really fun!! You won't beleive what happen to me over spring break,I had a really ,really bad bike wreck I was going down a boat ramp and when I got half way down I found out their was no breaks and crashed into one rock andflew ten feet over the handle bars and hit a rock that was pointing strat up and hit the top left side of my forhead and then slide a whole lot and was knock out for just a little while I had to get my head sewed together but before they sewed it together my mom said they could from the top of her finger to the middlke of her finger!!! And i had road rash from the top of my head to the bottom of my neck!!! And i broke my wrist and crushed my growth plate! But other then that I all good and ready to this stupid thing off my arm!So I can ride my 4-wheeler!! And I found out that I am not that stupid because I passed all my tasks test and made a 3 on my writing!! How I did all of that I have no idea. Well I will see you later

Life's no so bad here...especially when they get the A/C installed in our rooms.

Peanut Oil, whatever are we going to do with you?!?! Please be careful. Congrats on your TAKS tests! I'm so proud of you!!!

Misty, Mr. Farmer is a great person to talk to...the pool sounds great wish we had one here in A-stan...it would be great to wash off the dust after a long day in the sun.

Nikki -- sarcasm, me? Perish the thought! Actually...it is not too bad here...but the dust does get old...heh...and I have only been here a few days...

Meagan -- Still haven't made it to Iraq...but I did end up in Afghanistan (*note to Nikki - this might be sarcasm*) Humble sounds like fun...better than here

To all -- Miss you guys a lot...keep up the good work, dunno about leave or anything yet, but one never knows. Take care and God bless

Sounds absolutely delightful.
But to quote you, or more famously Lennon, life is what happens when you're busy making plans, is it not?
